hello everyone happy full moon. the thing I have noticed is that one of the many things I have tried to help with my insomia is sleeping with my head facing north and my feet facing south. it lines me up to the earth's magnetic field. so I found that it helps also on the full moon when I have very bad insomia due to the massive energy flow and the pull on the earth that most ordinary people it has some affect on them some smaller then others. just a little curious if any of you have tried this and what is your results?

No, I haven't tried this, but I do notice an extreme increase of insomnia when there is a full moon, and anxiety when its almost full to the extent that I HAVE to go outside and at least stare at it for hours at a time. I think that this is a very good idea and will definitely try it. I have also noticed that the urge to feed is more than normal when there is a full moon as well.

I haven't noticed much of an insomnia difference whether it's the full moon or not - but I have some pain and inflammatory issues that may be skewing things a bit too. *shrugs* Still, if you have persistent insomnia issues, it never hurts to go through [ the various causes of insomnia] just to rule anything else out that might be happening coincidentally at the same time. I know most of mine is due to pain or when I'm trying to sleep at hours contrary to my body clock. I can't say that's the same for anyone else, so it helps to know what usually causes it in the first place.

I appreciate the suggestion, but I don't do ibuprofin because I use acetaminophen. The two combine do not do happy things to the liver, and I rather like mine still functioning. My pain issues mainly stem from food reactions of various sorts. If I can eliminate the offenders long enough, I sleep much better and have much less pain. Of course feeding helps too.
