so what does everyone do in the early hours of the morning? just asking coz i remember when i first stopped sleeping normally and how long it took for me to find things to keep me amused for an extra 5 hours. so i thought it would be helpful for the people just going through this stage xx

Me? I wake up at 6:00 am even though i could wake up for school at 8, cuz it starts at 8:45. I find that If i wake up while it's still dark out it tricks my body into not being as tired in the day.

If I don't need to be up, I sleep in - today, I only got up "for the day" about 10 minutes ago, and it's about 5:30pm my time.

Same here.. I mean if you're still in school or college or what not you can do homework you didn't finish ( i tend to do that alot, *procrastinating*) or study. But like if you don't have anything to do you can clean the house, or sleep, or play video games, you know.. have hobbies, things you like to do.

First thing i do is i get up, anywhere from bout 5:30 to 7, i have to be at school by 8 so depending i may do homework i procrastinated on. but i find i always have to have a can of mountain dew for energy in the morning. I like bombs ideaa about waking up while its still dark. Ill have to see if that tricks my body. on the weekend ill sleep until about noon just because i can

I've become nocturnal in the past 2 years, but now that I'm back in school, I don't have the luxury of remaining a "nightwalker." LOL.. So, when I have to be up the next day, I keep the curtains closed and keep my room/house as dark as possible. I pretty much keep everyone else's advice. I do homework, write and research. I've not completely gotten used to being awake during the day let alone going out into the daylight. Usually in the morning around 6/7am, I'd be racing home to try and get inside before the sun comes up, but now, I have to go to classes etc. A pair of aviators have become my best friends. ((obviously vampires can go out in sunlight, but I've found that by keeping with some of the fictional fokelore, I find it more comforting and less-stressful to keep in my vampiric mindset.)) So, when I have to go to class, I wear my sunglasses, park as close as possible to the doors and sit as far away from the windows as possible. HAHA. I'm planning on getting new black-out curtains for the whole house and deep-tinted windows for my car.
Short funny story: I posted the other day about the man who came to fix our furnace, saw our choice of decor and ''religious'' items around the house and asked, "Am I going to be okay?" We responded, "As long as you fix the heat." HAHA Well, he has been the only person to set foot in our house for a long long time. Night before last, one of our friends came to visit for the first time in months. Now, its nothing for us to sit around the house with no lights on and we can navigate and get by with no problem, but when she came in she said, "OMG! I know you guys are dark, but can I have some light?" It was just kind of funny because we're not used to accommodating for others. I've searched for awhile now on what I can do to keep myself busy. I've found that researching various topics that keep me interested etc. are always helpful. Also, I've been looking into Wiccan practicing. It helps me with Psy abilities and working with energies.
