i feel rather silly asking this question. i have recently found a willing donor for me to feed off of. she is a very close friend of mine and i have a bit of a predicament... i have rather sharp and strong canine teeth, sharper than most people (i was called a vampire for years before i had my awakening) n i was just wondering... would it be safer for me to cut them using a razor, or to bite them? i have a fear that if i bite them i may take a chunk of their skin, and i don't want to put her in more pain than is necessary... please post your opinions. i would appreciate it

either way she'll feel pain depending on her pain tolerance. if you used a razor make sure it's sanitary or the cut could get badly infected.

it is easier to cut, though be wary of where your cutting at, dont cut an artery. biting can lead to infections, and it can be quite painful to be bit, so be careful if choosing that.

If I was a donor I would prefer being cut...it would take a lot of force to bite someone, sharp teeth or not. Biting isn't as sanitary and it wouldn't go as smoothly. It'll probably hurt the same amount in the end...though biting could pierce so deeply that it would take a lot of time to heal.
In my experience of autovampirism, Avoid these two things at all costs:
1. Do not cut on the wrists, inside the elbow, or anywhere along the forearm. Everyone thinks I cut myself because I couldn't control the thirst and mutilated my wrist.
2. Make sure the wound is deep enough to drink from, but not so deep that it will cause permanent pain. DO NOT cut any veins/arteries. I know there is more blood there, but please don't let the thirst take you and do it...it would not be beneficial to your generous donor. If you're using a knife, make sure it is sharp! Blunt knives are extremely painful and draw it out. Sharp blades are quicker. Same thing with razors: make sure it is fresh and sharp. Please. And if you bite, do it quickly, it's not beneficial to draw it out.
Stop biting if she says it hurts too much!!
Oh, make sure it's sanitary and that she doesn't have any diseases...please...

I was a donor not long ago but stopped because we split, anyway, i prefer cutting, mostly using pins/needles. Teeth can be extremely difficult and painful so though we tried, never worked as most teeth find it difficult, very few people can master it. Anyway pins and needles are usually much less painful and can do the job quickly, definitely my preferred way. Also, as mentioned, the sharper the better xxx

No, not at all. In fact, I've never had a partner...which wouldn't exactly be a "she."

Lol I didn't mean to sound rude there I kept thinking about that...I have absolutely no aversion and if that were the case I would most definitely accept it with pride.

Where exactly is it safe to cut that would provide ample amounts of blood? When my donor bleeds it stops quickly, is the cut not deep enough or should I find a new donor? I'm new to most of this and would like some help. Thank you

anywhere where skin is broken produces blood.
if they stop bleeding wuickly, or do not provide the amount needed, they may have thick blood. this is usually a sign of the donor not getting enough fluids. the more water they have th thinner there blood is generally.
